Here’s the wood being stacked nicely and securely… that’s good and logical… research shows that 100% of all bonfires need some sort of wood to get things going…
But wait! What’s that written on the planks?? Could it be… Gasp!! No!! It’s the names of the De La Salle Seniors basketball team members!

I don’t quite know how to react other than state that I think this was done in very poor taste. It obviously took some planning and pre-production, and therefore cannot be attributed to a heat-of-the-moment impulse. Come on Ateneo. I’ll love you til the day I die. But seriously. What’s up.
Defining Academic Racism: the New Ally of the New World Order
NO, this is not about the usual racism whereby the so-called superior race discriminates against the inferior race, but that new type of racism that has a broader and wider scope— wherein identification is not by the color of the skin but by one’s capacity to send himself to an elite school.
I’m not trying to be a lexicographer, but I would like to recommend that the term Academic Racism be added to the lexicon of our time and be given its appropriate meaning, which is the humble task of this essay.
I see it fit and proper to ascribe appropriate words to this term in order to prevent confusion. Others, at least some academicians and writers, have defined academic racism as that racial discrimination that takes place in school. Their method is just crude and simple– they only added the word academic and voila! a new term.
This is not what I would like to see. The words racism and academic racism should be properly identified and classified. Racism is racism. Res ipsa loquitur! Or, race ipsa loquitur? Again, these are two different Latin maxims.
What I would like to point out is that the term Academic Racism should refer to that specific type of discrimination, not against the black or colored people, but against the have-nots, against the inferior by status. My own understanding of Academic Racism is that it has a broader but definite scope, while the one that others try to popularize appears too crude. The latter only add confusion to the already confused people, to the already exploited and cheapened world. Racism is racism per se, no more, no less. No addition, no subtraction,no qualification.
What I see is that this type of racism happens in every part of the world; it has a wider scope, wider extent, and, it is generally unnoticed. It affects not the minority but the majority, which is one of the ironies of it. It crosses borders; it undermines reason, which is the only truth-teller or golden compass to man these days, so to speak. This is the reason why I say the extent and effect of this type of racism is generally or mostly unnoticed and misunderstood. Try to think.
Try to mull over if you also think the same way. If not, there’s something wrong with that inner compass carefully equipped inside your head. Perhaps, some people have titled its balance, or changed its programming, its function.
This type of racism is now commonplace, or so I say, is happening, all over the world— not only in the United States and other first world countries but also in third world nations. But what I’m sure of, based on experience and observation, is that it is now rampant in the Philippines, the land of brown people who dream of becoming little brown Americans. I say this is the new ally of collectivism in the modern world, apart from that racism per se that changed the course of history in the last century and chastised so-called inferior races throughout history.
This is a new form of collectivism, as it seeks to concentrate too much power on a little yet formidable collective. It is collectivism per se, as it seeks the death of reason and the termination of that single word, single letter “I”.
What most people do not know is that racism is one of the best implements of collectivism. To better understand this concept, the following are the major implements of collectivism: religion, government, ideology, doctrinal norms, (culture, tradition, etc.), patriotism, among others.
Aside from religion or the swastika occult, Hitler also used racism to unite the divided Germans in order to achieve global dominance. One way to stimulate or brainwash people is to make them believe that they belong to the greatest race in the world, and their physical attributes confirm such a claim, and that all other races are inferior. Hitler used this ploy to impress upon his subjects that for being an Aryan race, they have to claim or reclaim global dominance, and this can by done by eliminating the race that doesn’t deserve to exist, and then the others, and then the rest. It was purely a Machiavellian style, the divide et impera tactic of the last century, which conned men and deceived most nations.
That is why one man cried in frustration upon realizing how coward, how foolish, and how selfless he was. I used the word selfless, because the man wasn’t selfish; he was selfless because what he lost was not the Jews, not his country men, and not just his motherland, but his sense of self.
This man, to express his great frustration to the world and upon himself, wrote a poem, which I think is one of the greatest pieces of art in the last century, titled “First They Came for the Jews.”
Yes, Pastor Martin Niemöller wrote this 12-line poem:
First they came for the Jews
and I did not speak out
because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for the Communists
and I did not speak out
because I was not a Communist.
Then they came for the trade unionists
and I did not speak out
because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for me
and there was no one left
to speak out for me.
If one is to analyze the deeper import of this poem, he/she would be able to decipher what the writer liked people to understand, which is the evil in racism, in collectivism. Why bother to think about the plight of Christians in Islam countries if you’re a Muslim, or the conditions of Muslims in Christian nations if you’re a Christian? Why think of the pogroms of Israel and the United States in Palestine and other countries if you’re not a Palestinian?
Why worry about Tibetans who die and suffer in the hands of the Chinese every hour of the day if you don’t live in Tibet?
Why think about the lives and safety of millions of people in the hands of the communists if you’re not one of them?
Why be concerned with injustice done to communists by the democrats if you’re not a communist?
Why think about the poor if you’re rich?
Why are we not allowed to ask questions? Why ask questions? Why Question? Why?
Some people really don’t want us to think, because if we do we would be liable for thoughtcrime under their Orwellian law. Do not think. Do.
Do not complain. Comply.
In one of her eloquent essays, Ayn Rand, one of the greatest modern philosophers, wrote: “Racism is the lowest, most crudely primitive form of collectivism. It is the notion of ascribing moral, social or political significance to a man’s genetic lineage — the notion that a man’s intellectual and characterological traits are produced and transmitted by his internal body chemistry. Which means, in practice, that a man is to be judged, not by his own character and actions, but by the characters and actions of a collective of ancestors.”
I confirm what I mentioned above that Academic Racism, which should be given its appropriate meaning, is just one of the new allies of collectivism. It is actually not new since old empires like Egypt, Rome, Spain, among others used this scheme to perpetuate the rule of the dominant few; however, they failed.
The Academic Racism of today is more comprehensive, more adaptive and more elusive. It is elusive because of the confusion that pollutes the minds of the majority— because it is incapable of clear understanding— perhaps, because others just don’t want people to decode its meaning and the evil grand design behind it.
Ever wonder why there’s Harvard versus Yale rivalry? Ever heard of a secretive brotherhood in Yale University that is more powerful than the school itself? Did you ever think why the sons and daughters of a school alumnus/alumna have to follow the academic footsteps of their parents? Why Bush Jr. had to enroll in Yale, the alma mater of his father, Bush Sr., and not in any other university?
In the Philippines, there’s a copycat-version of Harvard-vs.-Yale enmity— that balderdash rivalry between Ateneo De Manila University (ADMU) and De La Salle University (DLSU). And here’s the irony of this folly: these copycat and self-respecting universities are run by sanctimonious priests! Why not? All racist universities, most of whom are called elite schools just because of the tag price of their education, in the Philippines are managed by Catholic priests. DLSU is run by the Franciscans; ADMU is run by the Jesuits. University of Santo Thomas is managed by the Dominicans. San Beda College is managed by the Benedictine brothers.
They are religious schools yet their mindset is sacrilegious. Most of their alumni judge people by their diploma. When you apply for a job, the question is no longer what you know but who you know and where you obtained your diploma?
Competence and individuality are no longer the morally (I use the word moral here based on the context of Objectivism) accepted indicators but financial capacity and collectivity. Most Filipino companies, as opposed to foreign companies, only hire those who were indoctrinated by these schools.
This is not an open secret as it is now being advertised in newspapers through classified ads with the words: FROM REPUTABLE SCHOOLS ONLY or GRADUATE OF (those schools only, including University of the Philippines).
In what could have been the crudest display of academic racism, students and alumni of one self-claimed elite Catholic school in one UAAP (University Athletic Association of the Philippines) basketball match shouted at the crowd of another university as if the latter were creatures from another planet— “Tuition n’yo baon ko lang!!!” In some UAAP online forums, these students and alumni of these self-claimed elite schools called students from other UAAP schools unprintable names, and most forum-visitors bragged about the greatness of their school, about the achievements of their well-to-do alumni, and about the prominence of their students.
You might not notice, but this academic racism is not just dividing the nation, it is undermining the essence of reason and the essence of individuality as well. This is because it divides people into two groups— the elite and the non-elite, or the rich and the poor, or the educated and the non-educated.
For some, you are considered not educated if you’re not a product of these schools. This is the foundation upon which most structures (social, political and economic) and crucial institutions are based. This is not the foundation upon which the concept of education is based, too. The concept of education is based on reason. The main function of education is to make the people properly informed and keep them away from ignorance and state-controlled indoctrinations.
The mind cannot function well if there are structures that aim to destroy reason. Reason is the conscience of man; it is his truth-teller, his only golden compass against falsehood in this parallel universe. Thus, if reason is corrupted by evil men, man cannot think properly and morally (objectivist context). Without reason, man cannot distinguish right from wrong, and he will have no means to determine whether he is being fooled or being used by those people in power.
Furthermore, if educational institutions are part of this crusade to kill reason, then it is better for man not to obtain education from these so-called educational institutions. This is not new to the thinking people, as this system was also exploited centuries ago by both the barbaric political and sanctimonious religious elite. The olden Catholic Church was the worst perpetrator of this system, as the powerful structures of the state only allowed the sons of the mighty few to obtain education under the sanction of the pope and high-ranking Catholic priests.
I say this kind of religious institution is neither pro-God, nor pro-man; I say this kind of church is anti-God and anti-Man, for its actions suggest the death of reason (both biblical and secular reason).
If this is the prevailing practice in most institutions, then naturally these brown-skinned Aryan people would soon control all areas of profession and opportunities. If competence is now being frowned upon, then it is better to seek not just a greener but more just pasture.
In the past century, there were great men who vanished from their place of birth to look for the nation where they could exercise their chosen profession without any interference. They searched for the nation that recognized individual competence and not trivial considerations (family, school, status, etc.)
How can members of the Skull and Bones not control the whole of the Unites States and the world if they slowly penetrate crucial institutions like CIA, FBI, Federal Reserve, the Presidency, among others with the help of their already established and influential seniors?
Most people call it “conspiracy theory.” Others call it “open secret” information. But they are wrong, for these are no longer concealed; they are already facts. They’re not conspiracy theories, they are conspiracies, and one of their objects is YOU— because they conspire to deceive and get YOU! As long as you think the way they would like you to think, you’d always be part of their GRAND CONSPIRACY.
Mathew 16:26 is not just the key for man to save his soul, but also the key for men to rule the world— how?— by COLLECTING SOULS! The verse states: “For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul?”
Will this bible verse discourage man from pursuing his secular desire— to gain power?
Others say YES. I say NO! Check its premise and try to analyze its import.
The answer is NO because you can reverse it. If that’s the case, if man would lose his soul from trying to gain the world, what is there left to do? Then, COLLECT SOULS!
This is the formula of con men these days. They try to collect souls to short-cut their evil intent, because it is proven, as it was applied for centuries, that a king, a tyrant, or an emperor, might gain all the wealth in this world, but in the end he would fail.
That’s why Alexander the Great wept when he learned that there were no more worlds to conquer. If these evil men succeeded in taking your soul, then it would be a lot easier for them to rule the world under one system, one rule policy.
It is NOT you they are after; it is you SOUL, you conscience.
